Pretty sure 42 and Gerry V reported the Oden thing around the same time without knowing that the other was reporting it. 42 recently posted that Gerry V reported the rumor before he did and that Gerry deserved the credit. I have to assume that they got the info from the same source.

The problem is that 42 is trying to have it both ways. He originally tweeted that Oden is coming here, then quickly backtracks saying he doesn't know.
How can you give props to someone who is wishy-washy?

42/Jason is very reliable. Moreover, unlike other journalists (he's a rocket scientist so I dunno if he wants to be called a journalist) he makes it clear when he's passing info that might come from a biased source.

GV said that's the word floating around the league. I doubt he would use that verbiage if 42 was his source, but then again, who knows at this point... All we can do is sit around and wait for confirmation.

One small downside if Oden does pick us will be 42 coming to the boards and swinging his proverbial dick around for the forseeable future.
