It really is awesome. I love the nba and nfl draft and the chess game of building the team. This is a real have you cake and eat it too season.

Kind of like Eagles fans this year . . . .

I don’t want Gordon Hayward on the lakers, he’s actually good. At one point he was a target for swapping him and Westbrook

Hayward can play, but he would add yet another fragile guy for LA.

He really would be a great fit for them. If they could have gotten him and Rozier, that team would be a lot better. Just fit together.

Kawhi Leonard and John Wall are both out of today's Clips vs Kings game for rehab/rest.

I'm glad that they played against the Lakers, and I'm reminded that the Lakers could have had Wall instead of Westbrook at the trade deadline last season.

How fragile are those two where they are doing “load management” in the 1st week of the season? Kawhi only played around 20min in game 1.

I would bet money that Kawhi will never play more than 60 regular season games for the rest of his career, no matter how healthy

It’s one of the reasons that months ago I said Clippers may be a finals favorite but people expecting them to win 60 games is absurd. Clippers, even if they look like the best team in the league at full capacity, will end up a mid tier seed cause of all the load management

this year they might frick around and find out. If they don’t make top 4 they may not see the 2nd round. If I’m ballmer at some point you have to say frick it let’s go get a ring and who cares if kawhi likes it or not.

kawhi has his rings. The clippers have an opportunity to bury the lakers and take over the 2nd biggest market in the league

see how they are.
its a long season.

so yes they probably are leery of losing them for a long stretch.

it's quite possible (likely?)
that the 6th seed is a terrific team. between early season injuries and load mgmt you could end up with 3rd seed as underdog in its home series.
I think clips will be delighted to just get to playoffs with a healthy roster.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow's game. The Warriors and Clippers were supposed to beat the Lakers, but the Lakers and Blazers should be evenly matched, and I would give the Lakers the edge at home. Caesars has the Lakers favored by 3.

I’m taking the Blazers and the points for sure. Actually, I’m going to take Blazers on the money line. I could see Toni not playing or playing light minutes after the hard fall he took Thursday.
