We currently have the #7 pick according to tankathon. I ran the lottery sim 5 times and came up with this result. Keep up the good work, Lakers.

Home loss to the worst team in the league.

Come on, AD. Stress is the silent killer. Relax. Get your mind right. See you next year.

Close as I think Detroit has that locked in with spurs trying to beat them out with Charlotte. Those look like the worst teams to me on the eye test for sure. Lakers without AD will stay bottom 7.

I think the best part of that Laker L is that LeBitch commits the game-losing goaltend with 6 seconds left

And that's even with his shoe peacing out on him on the potential game-winning possession... it got them an open 3 look and they just missed it

It's tomorrow, but YES.

I keep looking at the Thomas Bryant injury play, and, yeah, I gotta agree with this physical therapist that it looks like a rotator cuff injury: LINK

I feel fairly confident that Bryant is going to miss a few games.

With Bryant and Davis out, that means that the Lakers only have three healthy players on their regular roster (not counting the two-way contract of 6'9" SF Cole Swider) who are taller than 6'6": Wenyen Gabriel, Damian Jones, and LeBron.

Gabriel is a fouling machine: teams can attack him and get him in foul trouble quickly. That's going to leave Damian Jones and LeBron to contend with opposing centers and power forwards.

That's going to mean that LeBron is going to have to play in excess of 35' per night if the Lakers are going to have any chance at all, and his body isn't going to deal with that well, especially with the pounding he will face playing center.

Yeah I don’t think the Lakers will break through the top 3. Detroit, Charlotte and SA have that locked up. But I do think they can finish 5th or 6th. Especially if they shut LeBron down towards the tail end of the season

Yea this next stretch is huge for burying this team at least in the lottery.

Assuming AD is out their next 11 games, at charlotte and at Orlando probably the only 2 I think they should win on paper, and Orlando is actually playing well recently. They will probably beat the hawks one of 2 but this could easily be a 3-8 stretch before AD is reevaluated for any evidence of testicles.

LeBron taking a pounding, now he knows how Toni felt during decadence.

Since Bryant is playing today, this is a reminder that my feelings are not a particularly reliable way to evaluate injuries.

Dallas built a team of scrubs around him, they may be built worse than the Lakers

Just a matter of time...before Mavs start hitting wide open 3-pt shots. But, can't blame LA for leaving them open...with Doncic out there.
