Considering that he is the franchise player, an important season for Zion is an important offseason for the entire team. When you have a generational talent that leaves, the program suffers for years. Example Magic when Shaq left, Cleveland when Lebron left (both times) and OKC when KD left

I'm worried about 2 things:

- Zion coming in in fantastic shape
- Not making a huge mistake with lots of collateral damage like overpaying Kyle Lowry

I think the Pels can survive meh moves but can't make a crippling mistake like is potentially the case with Lowry, and they need Zion to be the best version of himself he can be at this point.

Cut Bledsoe, Keep Lonzo (15 $ M or less) and Hart (10 $ M or less)
Let Adams go. Try to have Covington, Zach Collins (if Lillard really wants to leave Portland)

Not that easy in the NBA due to guaranteed contracts.
