2014 All Star game in NOLA - discussion

I'm excited for this. Last time it was here in 2008 was a great time for any basketball fan (although as a Hornets fan times were especially awesome as we went into the break as the #1 seed in the almighty Western Conference). The All Star Jam held in the Convention Center has a bunch of stuff for kids to do and also hosts the Rising Stars rookie vs sophomore game. Also, if you are like me you will
at the amount of official league merchandise sold here. The game itself is one of the better All Star games in sports. You will witness the best athletes in the world showcasing their (mostly offensive
) talents. I'm also hoping to attend both the dunk and skills contests, as I missed those in '08. Hopefully we will have some Pelicans representatives participating!

I liked all the New Orleans and NOLA one off jerseys and athletic wear that came from that game.
Had a lot of fun at the events, but didn't make the game itself.

I cherish a hoody I got from there. The logo was great and really "New Orleans" without coming off as trying too hard.

We were told the same. We want to go to the game but if we can't get that then we will do the dunk, skills, and 3pt shoot out.
