Yea... There was no way the team let him play with the pending investigation and case. Especially a young player like Hayes.
I would loved to see Hayes in SL though. I really wanted to see if he was able to add a viable 3 point shot to his arsenal and I wanted to see how much stronger he got.

They should have known in advance how hostile the market would be and then they could have scaled back their plans and gotten the same net result for less. Even if you think the team is better, they failed to execute their own plan. That’s a failure.
