now that I think about it, the city park show was the “rock and roll Super Bowl” journey, Bryan Adams, foghat (I think)

I posted Kiss as my first concert in another post.

I forgot about seeing Sonny and Cher before that at the Houston Rodeo in 1974.

These are all incredible. I saw Kenny Rogers as a kid but first rock concert (apart from Petra) was REO at the BR State Fair. They had all sorts of technical difficulties. People were chanting REO for what seemed like hours. 1988 maybe? 1989 now that I think about it.
