The kids in class want to hear some stuff they’ve never heard before. I’m thinking of using the Carpenters since there are so many great ones. I plan to use original versions of some songs they may have heard

For All We Know. But it's really hard to pick a favorite.
I'd love to be able to hear what they sounded like when they were a Jazz trio called Spectrum. Only heard a brief clip in a documentary on them, but they sounded great.

May favorite is Superstar, although that may not be appropriate for young kids.
After that, Rainy Days and Mondays, We've Only Just Begun (which has an interesting story about how it was first a bank commercial) and Close To You.
For young kids, they may like Sing or Top Of The World.
