Sure not gonna complain about "Waterloo Sunset". Probably The Kinks best song, but "Shangri-La" is pretty damn good too. It was a commercial bomb when released as a single, but it is an underrated killer.

I'll limit it to one track per artist.
"Age of Consent" - New Order
Closest I can get to a favorite. Love the guitar riff, love the tempo, love the vocals. Pretty much flawless.
"Midnight Rambler" - The Rolling Stones
2A/2B with "Can't You Hear Me Knockin?".
"Judy and the Dream of Horses" - Belle & Sebastian
Not their best song, not even the best song on the album, but I find myself wanting to list it anyway.
"Pulling Mussels (From a Shell)" - Squeeze
The most artfully worded song about sex on vacation ever written.

That’s a great song. That album is so loaded with great songs, not sure which would be my favorite, but Judy and the Dream of Horses would be at least top three.

Since people are doing multiples, I’ll go full blown top ten (this could obviously change day to day)
Blinded By The Light - Manfred Man

Won't get fooled again - The Who
Won't get fooled again
Great drumming by Keith Moon on this one.

That’s cheating, gotta pick one. If you crash land on a deserted island and this will be the only song you’ll ever hear again for the rest of your life.
