This is my opinion as well, though I do love Comfortably Numb.
The last album with Waters in the band, The Final Cut, sucked so much throb. I just can't stand Waters' annoying voice and his retarded political try-hard lyrics.

Gilmour. Although Roger Waters Dark Side show was absolutely incredible. I still like Gilmour moar.

I'm actually a fan of the post-Waters, Gilmour-led albums, especially A Momentary Lapse in Reason. Is it PF's best work? No.. but I can still dig it.

And any piece of relevant Pink Floyd material has David Gilmour playing guitar. He was the most talented member in Pink Floyd and that's saying something. Listen to Gilmour's solo album "On an Island". "The Division Bell" was awesome as well.
