Couldn't agree more. Their first two albums kicked arse. Here is a secret gem. LINK

Kinda like Motley Crue bringing in John Corabi to replace Vince Neil only to fire Corabi and rehire Neil.

That was Boston.
Asian Journey guy was a big pop star over there. And he's pretty good. He's way better than Steve Perry is at this point.
100% wrong here. Journey found their frontman on youtube. Here is a video about it.

A lot of the same answers as the best frontman replacement ever.
My nomination? Lawrence Gowan taking Dennis DeYoung's spot in Styx.

Yeah. It only resulted in the second best selling album of all time. What were they thinking when they hired Johnson?

Exactly. You might have been a greater fan of Bon Scott, but rarely has a band had as good a replacement as Brian Johnson.

John Mayer replacing Jerry in Dead and Company

Are you kidding? I was coming here to post Paul Rodgers/Queen. Adam is probably the only guy on the planet who can do Freddie's music justice while being himself. There are a couple imitators who can mimic Freddie's voice somewhat, but Adam Lambert has both the range and the stage presence to hang with Queen without doing an imitation of Freddie. Saw Queen live in '78, and I've seen Lambert live. In August I'm seeing Queen with Lambert. What's your complaint and who could do a better job?

When Matt Walst replaced Adam Gontier, Three Days Grace. They haven't been relevant since.

Tim "Ripper" Owens was not a good replacement for Rob Halford in Judas Priest.
He's not a bad singer by any means, but it didn't fit Judas Priest.
