Any idea when tickets will go on sale? Looking to take my dad ( he’s never listened). He has however seen Hendrix, Tull, and others so I’m betting he likes it.

You must hate your dad to want to take him to a Widespread Panic 3.0 show.

i'm an old hippie and saw all the old greats. Last concert was Halloween in NO, 2019, WFP: it was great!

I'm just a jaded old Panic fan that saw Mikey standing up in the early 90's. I saw one show with Herring and I was bored to tears.

Don’t really know the difference. Late to the show. I swim to a lot of their songs.

Two totally different sounds. Mikey used a volume pedal(why he started sitting down) and created a really unique sound. Herring is more of a blues/slide guitar player that really just doesn't work on most their old standards, IMO. Here's an example. First link is Ride Me High with Mikey. His playing is way more subtle and kinda weaves in and out until his solo. Second link is the same song with Herring. It's not bad, but the sound is just so much different I just never could get on board with it. To each their own though.

I’m an old head and had never seen or listened to WSP before I went to a two night stand year before last. They were great as far as I know. The crowd was super into it and they played lively shows with plenty of fireworks. Didn’t know a single song and we had a great time

if your dad likes classic rock he will enjoy it

If y’all can make it when everyone is dressed up it’s the best costume party on the planet. Hands down.

If not, it’s still going to be some great southern rock. They love NOLA. They will also slip into plenty of covers for your father.

I hope y’all enjoy

I thought this was a news article that there was widespread panic in the streets of New Orleans... that's believable.

I'm stoked. My first panic show was Nolaween 2019 Friday. I grew up around panic (my uncle is a hugh spreadhead) but never really listened to them. Went with some friends barley knowing what i was getting into. I immediately texted my uncle afterwords saying "I get it."

Needless to say I'll be in Asheville in two weeks with him and my cousin for their saturday show.

got my Friday and Saturday tickets. Sunday is a no go because of young kids and Halloween. I'm not mad though. I'll be in Napa next month if covid allows.
