Who’s the band/artist you regret never seeing?

For me it’s AC/DC and the Eagles. I know the eagles may still tour in the future but it’ll never be the same without Glenn Frey.

Led Zeppelin. Wife and I had tickets to see them in the Superdome but they cancelled the tour when Robert Plant’s son died.

Tom Petty’s a good one.

Queen. Freddie Mercury is my favorite singer.

If you mean anytime:
Sam Cooke as a gospel singer
Velvet Underground
Sex Pistols in BR (1-9-78)
The Who opening for Herman's Hermits at Redemptorist High in BR (1967)
Jim Morrison sitting in w/Van Morrison & Them (Whiskey a Go Go in L.A., 1966)
If mean people you had a chance to see:
Van Morrison -- a guy who'd seen him talked me out of going to JazzFest in the rain
Arthur Lee performing Forever Changes in concert c. 2005. He never came anywhere near the South.
Alex Chilton -- at the Chimes when I was at LSU. But I couldn't talk anyone to going with me ("Alex who?") and being a broke college student who could barely afford the seven dollars admission, I passed. (Historical note: none of the ads promoting the show mentioned Big Star, who at this point I'd still never heard. Instead they stressed the fact that the Replacements had written a song about him).
Planned to go to the Big Star reunion at SxSW about 15 yrs ago but had to cancel. Graham Parker, who I've still never seen, was at that SxSW too...

Zappa
Pavement
The Byrds....although I am too young to have ever seen them.
James Brown...again, too young
Zeppelin.....again too young.....so I guess I wish I was born in the 50s. But then I would be older than I am now and probably wouldn't have experienced the whole 80s alternative scene so.....no regrets.

Two years ago McGuinn and Hillman toured w/Marty Stuart to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Sweetheart of the Rodeo (I wasn't able to go; almost listed it in my first post). Several shows are on YT.

Some bands I was probably too young to have gone to see like Zeppelin, Queen and Zappa were a little before I became concert-going age, or they died right at the time I would have gone to see them. I wish I had seen Soundgarden, Linkin Park, Pantera, Dio, Tom Petty, Michael Jackson. And then there are some obscure bands that broke up or didn't last very long, like Pure Reason Revolution, that I missed. I've seen at least a hundred and fifty bands in concert so there aren't too many I can think of that I regret not seeing. I've seen Alice in Chains and Prince. I saw Roger Waters twice on his tour for The Wall so that will have to do for Pink Floyd.

Prince, Queen and the original INXS, saw INXS after they replaced Michael and it was just the greatest cover band ever at that point
