Stopped on the way back from skiing last week and grabbed Leon Bridges, Lake Street Dive, and isbell tickets.

Yea, I’m excited

Well after starting this thread, we pulled the trigger and hit Red Rocks from Atlanta last weekend. Here is my trip report if anyone is interested.

Place was amazing and Brit Floyd did not disappoint as usual. We will be seeing them again in two weeks here in Atlanta.

Been there but not for a concert. It’s incredible, but take it easy on the booze and hard on the water. That altitude is killer if you’re not acclimated to it.

Great trip report! I'm glad you guys had fun out here. Looks like things are pretty green up in Denver. They must have been getting some rain. Been dry as a bone down here in the Springs.

I got caught in that storm while coming over the mountains. That was some scary shiite. My 2 wheel drive sedan struggles with traction on dry flat land

We had a few people there mention that the "Falls" were great right now because the rivers were full due to lots of rain. I guess you are right. We did not have any clouds in the 5 days trip at all. Flew back in to Atlanta and had to circle the airport a few times waiting on a storm to pass by the runway

It was a great trip. We have been around the west a little but never Colorado. Really enjoyed it and the people were fantastic

The suddenness with which storms appear around here catches a lot of people out. They can be right behind a mountain range and you never know it until it's right on top of you. If you're up the side of a 14'er when that happens, you're in trouble because you're so exposed. Florida is the lightning capital of the US but Colorado actually has more deaths from lightning.
