How this could go 3 pages without Gram Parsons being mentioned is beyond me.
The evolution of Uncle Tupelo, Blue Mountain, Sun Volt, and Wilco
I'm not sure Lucero fits in with traditional alt-country groups. They may have started punk-country but are adding horns and going in more of a bluesy-soul (old Memphis sound) direction.
