Tickets say show starts at 6. Anyone have an educated guess on what time opening act will start, and (more importantly) what time WM will take the stage?

Between 8-9:30 if I had to guess. I reached out asking same thing. Coming from over an hour away.

There's two openers so I would say probably around 9.

Super excited for the show, and the weather should be perfect. Read Southhall Band is a very good opening act.

Seeing them tonight in Tuscaloosa. Excited to hear Read Southall Band.

Whiskey Myers doesn’t strike me as an amphitheater band. Hope they bring it!

Very excited about the show.
I love the new album. The horns are a little different for them, but I think it works.
I’m pumped about the set lists I’ve seen posted online.
Please post tomorrow with your thoughts on the show, and also show times of the various bands.

Awesome Rock/Southern Rock show!

Whiskey Myers tore it up. Came out swinging. A lot of extended jams. 2 hour set!

Read Southall was good, but I’d like to see them in a smaller venue.

7:00 Weathered Souls
7:45 Read Southall
9:00 on the dot Whiskey Myers. Played till 11:00

Have fun tonight!

Whiskey Myers is one of my favorites…I have seen them several times in lots of different sized venues.

We saw them at Red Rocks in June (subtle brag), and it was my least favorite of any time I have seen them.

I am glad that they are seeing the success they deserve, but I loved seeing them in a venue that hold 1200 people. I guess those days are over! Hahaha

Was the set list the same as the ones on Setlist.fm?

Yes…songs look the same. No encore break though last night. Just kept trucking. I swear Early Morning Shakes lasted 10 minutes!

You’re going to be so pumped when he hits that Mississippi Saxophone to start John Wayne. Great lead out song.

That’s how it was last time I saw them, which I very much appreciate.

Why is the sound not good in here? Couldn’t understand a word Read Southall was singing.

Set list as I heard it. Missed a couple in the pisser…

John Wayne
Gasoline
Bury my bones
Frogman
Broken window serenade
Bar guitar
???
Die rocking
Virginia
Glitter ain’t gold
Early morning shakes
Wolf
How far
Ballad of a southern man
???
Bitch
Stone
Refugee

The show starts out so strong with JW and Gasoline.
Bury my bones is one of my favorites.
Wolf off the new album is fantastic.
Lead singer has such a strong voice. The guitar players were excellent.
I thought the crowd was weak, but it didn’t seem to affect the performance.

I thought the lights negatively affected the show. You couldn't see the whole band to appreciate the performance. I've never been to a show where so many left early. After Ballard of s Southern Man, half our section left as did a bunch of folks on the floor.

Seemed like half of us on the floor drug our better halves to the concert and they played all their more popular stuff all within 30 minutes that everyone really got into. My gf lost interest like an hour in but she really didn't know anything after the first 40 minutes or so

I left halfway through stone. Great concert. Wasn’t getting caught in traffic.
