You are voting that they have the best harmonies? I just listened to their aptly named "Sludge Factory"... I expect this from people who've never heard anything before MTV, but I thought you knew better.

Gorgeous stuff man. I mean it's not that obscure 1950s stuff you like so I would anticipate a little ignorance on you're part of anything post 1960

So you're doubling down that they have the BEST harmonies? Interesting.

You may have been joking, but these guys weren't bad.

Since Simon and Garfunkel have been mentioned, another group that has some decent 2 part (some songs) is Lady Antebellum.

True story: My parents had that Steve Young record, too, which I found in their massive record collection after I got married and helped them move into a new house. I remember them loving the Eagles cover of the song because they'd become huge fans, so I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Eagles version.

Boring backstory: My mother's grandfather started a gospel quartet in the 1930s with his three oldest kids (one of whom was my grandmother). The quartet eventually recorded for Columbia and, over the decades, it has continued with each new generation of family members (and some hired guns). Anyway, I grew up with the constant harmonizing going on in our house, which explains my parents' love of the Eagles...and why that version hits home with me, I guess...

CSB: My siblings and I ended up singing the Eagles version at my Dad's funeral.

Look up First Aid Kit on Vevo.

Pick any song.

These girls are as good as The Everly Brothers or Simon & Garfunkel.

Don't even try to step to me with Eagles or CSNY (although they are pretty f'kin good).

I'm waiting at the Sonic.
