Where to Download Music?

I used to use btjunkie.org but they shut themselves down and now I use archive.org and piratebay. Does anyone else know some good place to get downloads? The group on facebook, "i got link, you got links, now we have links" is also good for live shows.

I purchase Rhapsody for ten bucks a month, and as long as you're a current member you can download music and listen to it even without an internet or other connection. They have virtually everything except for the extremely copy written stuff like the Beatles and King Crimson.

yea, I am talking about free music. It is hard to find a lot of setlists on itunes and rhapsody anyway.

I used Demenoid for torrents, and mediafire/rapidshare/sendspace for individual file sharing.

I don't actually use a website to download music, or at least I have not in a while.
I pay $10 a month for spotify, which I use on my phone all the time. I'm able to 'download' a ton of songs, though they are not truly downloaded. Once you stop paying you can't listen to them. I live in NYC so I'm in the subways a lot and when I work out.
Have not used rhapsody, so I don't have an opinion, but I've heard good things.
Degos- Are you able to actually download songs from Rhapsody?

From how you described spotify, it works the same way. They are yours to "download" and listen to in places without connection, but only as long as you're a monthly member.
