I´m in Atlanta, and I had to google Zac Brown, in order to reply.

So, I´d say no.

Honest question: Who is better on the acoustic? I'm amazed when he plays the fiddle solo from Devil Went Down to Georgia

I think he might be better on the acoustic than Vince Neil, but not sure.

I don't know if he's an all time great, but he's definitely a beast.

Devil Went Down to Georgia
start at the 5 minute mark

Chicken Fried solo
4 minute mark

I gagged upon reading that thread title. These threads are getting ridiculous.

Jimmy Herring. Seriously, I think he is better on acoustic than anything else.

C'mon man, there are literally hundreds of better, more accomplished guitarists easily found on YouTube.
And there are thousands of high school kids who can play as well as him. Here's just a tiny, tiny sampling of better, more accomplished guitarists:

Steel string players:

Leo Kottke

Doc Watson

Tommy Emmanuel

Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin, and Paco de Lucía (Paco is nylon)

Pete Townshend

Michael Hedges

Pierre Bensusan

Nylon string players:

Badi Assad 1 and Badi Assad 2

George Sakellariou

Very very grooving.

As for zac brown, wtf are you thinking? Hammer on/offs aren't soloing, you learn that in week two. That said, his band is dynamic as frick and badass. Great song writer, great front man, great rhythm guitarist. Not even close to the best.
