Goats.
Three mile Pilot, pinback and the black heart procession we’re among my fav bands of the late 90’s early 00’s. North county boys ftw. I will say that pinback is my least favorite of the three projects, and I never listened to anything post summer in abaddon, but I still love those first few albums.

They have put out some fantastic music. I saw them at Chelsea's several years ago and they were okay.

I've always been a big fan of XIY. I just love the unconventional bass lines that Zach plays.

One of the best bands that few know about unfortunately. They perfectly meld hooks with carefully constructed orchestrations. The bass player is one of the best you'll find, and Rob is a superb song crafter.
I completely disagree with the poster who says that he hasn't been missing much. Pinback has gotten better with each record they put out. It's unfortunate that Rob called it quits, but his solo stuff as well as Goblin Cock (his metal band) are very good as well.

Love Pinback. Autumn of the Seraphs and Summer In Abaddon are incredible albums. Sediment, from one of their more recent albums, is one of my favorites.

I really like the first two albums. I guess they got kinda "samey" to me after that.
