X 3 .... So many to choose from as I'd give HBTN a slight edge over Flight of Icarus

Hallowed Be Thy Name

One of the few bands where I can come up with the answer to this question without hesitation or thought.

She came to me with a serpent's kiss,
As the Eye of the Sun rose on her lips,
Moonlight catches silver tears I cry,
So we lay in a black embrace,
And the Seed is sown in a holy place
And I watched, and I waited for the Dawn.

So many great ones but have to go with Hallowed Be Thy Name, followed closely by Phantom of the Opera and Revelations.

Shows their staying power when their best song is on their 8th/9th (is that right?) studio album.

And yes, FOTD is my favorite as well

They really have too many great songs to have a real number 1. The have been putting out albums since 1980 and are still putting out kick arse music to this day. Depends on what mood I am in I can have a lot different favorites. I will say synth era Maiden is my favorite, but all classic era kicks arse and the 2000 and after has been light prog goodness. Hell even their 90s output rocked!!

Agree, that whole album is great. Since the reunion all of the albums have been great. BNW, AMOLAD and BOS are all top notch and DOD and TFF just behind those.

Saw Maiden myself this tour in Tacoma, WA. Fourth time seeing them, but first time with my son... Up the Irons!
