When I was maybe 13 or 14 I saw .Moneen., Northstar, and Chronic Future at a small bar/restaurant in Houma. They were passing through on tour and decided to pick up a gig in Houma...no clue why...but glad they did.
Shortly after Chronic Future sort of hit it big with "Time and Time Again", Moneen fell off the face of the earth, and Northstar broke up...really wish they wouldn't have cause they were a damn good band.

Ted Nugent right after his first album released. Jumping off of double stacks in a loin cloth.

First for me was a quick stop for the final day of the Celebration of Life on the banks of the Atchafalaya River down the road from my Grandmas house. 1971 - 10 years old with my older cousins. I don't remember much of the bands, but I do remember seeing my first naked woman there.
And a quick introduction to Hippy Culture.

well, if you don't count festivals...
Cowboy Mouth and a local metal band who's name escapes me before the Florida game my freshman year.
ETA: Flight of the Conchords @ the Santa Barbra Bowl the summer before. It is still one of the best concerts I've ever gone to.
