It’s a real shame what that guy did to those kids. It makes it tough to enjoy that absolute gem of an album. “Last Train Home” is one of my favorite songs of the decade.

Agreed it’s tough. I’ve only listed to it about about a couple times since the arrest, but man it was my main cd in high school and college.

The Dismemberment Plan- Change

Probably the most influential album in my life. Had a friend show me 'The Other Side' and it kinda blew me away.

'The Face of the Earth' still gets me 20 years later.

'I never really knew the way she lived her life
I tried a couple numbers but they never called back
I didn't know her family or friends at all
With no one to call, summer turned into fall
I gave up

It's been a couple years and I guess I'm fine about it
It's not like we were married, it was three or four months
And nothing's really different though it seems like I've spent my life in planes
Which is kind of strange'

Glad to see another Plan fan here. There aren’t many of us. Emergency and I and Change are two of my all-time favorite albums. I’ve never heard anyone else quite like them. And Morrison is a great lyricist. Love that lyric you quoted.

And Easley (the drummer) is a total badass.

Listened to this for the first time about a month ago. It was awesome. Been in heavy rotation.
