The Beatles. For me, their music never gets old.

Been rocking the Counting Crows - New Amsterdam live at Heineken Hall album today.

For all the shitty live performances Duritz does with free talking instead of singing, this whole album was great.

I actually feel like there has been so much new and exciting stuff released the past few months, I haven't had much listening time for older stuff.

But to answer the question, The Clash and Husker Du have been in the rotation lately.

Just this morning, Django Reinhardt from 1937. I know, not rock.

Also, been on a Kinks kick lately. A vastly underrated band.

Roots music -- classic blues (which I know little about) and country. specifically I've been listening to quite a bit of Buck Owens and his great sideman Don Rich

Dixieland Jazz
Any recommendations? I know almost nothing about it but like some of what I've heard.

I don't care all that much for big band. I have a theory that Dixieland >>> Big Band just as Rock & Roll >>> Heavy Metal, with the more joyful music superior to the heavier sound that exceeded it in popularity
