In The Commision, you ask for permission to hit em
He don't like me, him and wild wifey was wit em
You heard of us, the murderers, most shady
Been on the low lately, the feds hate me
The son of *Satan*, they say my killin's too blatant
You hesitatin, I'm in your mama crib waitin
Duct tapin, your fam destiny
lays in my hands, gat lays in my waist
Francis, M to the iz-H phenomenal
Gun rest under your vest by the abdominal
Rhyme a few bars so I can buy a few cars
And I kick a few flows so I can pimp a few hoes
Excellence is my presence, never tense
Never hesitant, leave a n!gga bent real quick
Real sick, brawl nights, I perform like Mike
Anyone Tyson, Jordan, Jackson
action, pack guns, ridiculous
And I'm, quick to bust, if my ends you touch
Kids or girl you touch, in this world I clutch
Two auto-matoes, used to call me fatso
Now you call me Castro, my rap flows
militant, y'all f@ggots ain't killin shyt
Ooops Cristal keep spillin shyt, you overdid it homes
You in the danger zone, you shouldn't be alone
Hold hands and say it like me
The most shady, Frankie baby, fantastic
Graphic, tryin to make dough, like Jurassic
Park did quick to spark kids who start shyt
See me, only me
The Underboss of this holocaust
Truly yours, Frank White

True story
Call me Thorburn, John A., staff sergeant
Marksman, skilled in killin', illin', I'm able and willin'
Kill a village elephant, raping and pillage a village
Illegitimate killers, US Military guerrillas
This ain't no real war, Vietnam shite
World War II, that's a war, this is just a military conflict
Soothin' drug abusin', Vietnamese women screwin'
Sex, gambling and boozin', all this shite is amusin'
Bitches and guns, this is every man's dream
I don't wanna go home where I'm just an ordinary human being
Special Op, Huey chopper gun ship run shite
asian run when the minigun spit, won't miss
Kill shite, spit four-thousand bullets a minute
Victor Charlie, hit trigger, hit it, I'm in it to win it
"Get it," the lieutenant hinted, the villain, I been it
The killing, I did it, cripple, did it, pictures I painted is vivid, live it
A wizard with weapons, the secret mission, we 'bout to begin it
Government funded, behind enemy lines
Bullets is sprayin', it's heatin' up a hundred degrees
The enemies the North Vietnamese, bitch please
Ain't no sweat, I'm told, "Be at ease"
Until I see the pilot got hit, and we 'bout to hit some trees
Till the rotor broke, crash land
American man in Cambodia, right in the enemy hand
Take a swig of the whiskey to calm us
Them yellow men wearin' black pajamas, they wanna harm us
They all up on us, bang, bang, bullet hit my chest, feel no pain
To my left, the captain caught a bullet right in his brain
Body parts flyin', loss of limbs, explosions
Bad intentions, I see my best friend's intestines
Pray to the one above, it's raining, I'm covered in mud
I think I'm dyin', I feel dizzy, I'm losin' blood
I see my childhood, I'm back in the arms of my mother
I see my whole life, I see Christ, I see bright lights
I see Israelites, Muslims and Christians at peace, no fights
Black, Whites, Asians, people of all types
I must've died, then I woke up, surprised I'm alive
I'm in a hospital bed, they rescued me, I survived
I escaped the war, came back, but ain't escape Agent Orange
Two of my kids born handicapped
Spastic, quadriplegia, micro cephalic
Cerebral palsy, cortical blindness, name it, they had it
My son died, he ain't live, but I still try to think positive
Cause in life, God take, God give

Pretty much all of Tupac's Hail Mary

quote:

I ain't a killer but don't push me
Revenge is like the sweetest joy next to getting pussy
Picture paragraphs unloaded, wise words being quoted
Peeped the weakness in the rap game and sewed it
Bow down, pray to God hoping that he's listening
Seeing **** coming for me, to my diamonds, when they glistening
Now pay attention, rest in peace father
I'm a ghost in these killing fields
Hail Mary catch me if I go, let's go deep inside
the solitary mind of a madman who screams in the dark
Evil lurks, enemies, see me flee
Activate my hate, let it break, to the flame
Set trip, empty out my clip, never stop to aim
Some say the game is all corrupted, fricked in this shite
Stuck, **** is lucky if we bust out this shite, plus
mama told me never stop until I bust a nut
frick the world if they can't adjust
It's just as well, Hail Mary

[Chorus 2X]

[Makaveli]
Penitentiaries is packed with promise makers
Never realize the precious time the bitch **** is wasting
Institutionalized I lived my life a product made to crumble
But too hardened for a smile, we're too crazy to be humble, we balling
Catch me father please, cause I'm falling, in the liquor store
That's the Hennessee I hear ya calling, can I get some more?
Hail 'til I reach Hell, I ain't scared
Mama checking in my bedroom; I ain't there
I got a head with no screws in it, what can I do
One life to live but I got nothing to lose, just me and you
on a one way trip to prison, selling drugs
We all wrapped up in this living, life as Thugs
To my homeboys in Clinton Max, doing they bid
Raise hell to this real shite, and feel this
When they turn out the lights, I'll be down in the dark
Thuggin eternal through my heart, now Hail Mary ****

I haven't had a favorite verse in years. The last verse I actively thought of as my "favorite" was Jay's second verse on this track:

4:25

It's positioning within the song, the way the choir hits it right before the verse, you're just feeling it and Jay totally delivers. Don't sleep on the previous verse, either, J. Ivy straight up takes you to church, and actually his verse is probably better. It's pure poetry. This song was easily my favorite off of that album, and it actually still is to this day.

Most anything Eminem. Lyrics are often cleaver and poignant, and move fluent without the need of a baseline or misic at all.

Ex:

Now who's the king of these rude, ludicrous, lucrative lyrics?
Who could inherit the title, put the youth in hysterics?
Using his music to steer it, sharing his views and his merits
But there's a huge interference: they're saying you shouldn't hear it
Maybe it's hatred I spew, maybe it's food for the spirit
Maybe it's beautiful music I made for you to just cherish
But I'm debated, disputed, hated and viewed in America
As a motherfrickin' drug addict - like you didn't experiment?

Jay-Z's verse in Who Gon Stop Me
quote:

Who gon stop me hah? Beat the odds
Beat the Feds, it wouldn’t be wise to bet against the kid
Start me broke, I bet I get rich, night shift: six to six
Give me one shot, one pot, I’ll show up in all white, wearin no socks
No ceiling, new coupe, they know I’m a dope boy, they don’t have no proof
I’m three steps removed, I know how to move, it's looking like, I don’t know how to lose
I’m winning again, I’m at the Wynn, I’m at the table, I’m gamblin
Lucky lefty, I expect a seven, I went through hell, I’m expectin heaven
I’m owed, I throwed and I stuck to the G-code
I’m here, oh yeah, I promise I ain’t going nowhere
Okay here, like a hare, like a rabbit, I like karats
I’m allergic to havin bunny ears like broke, like nope
Like ha, I ain’t no joke, I can’t be stopped, like nope, like nope!
Extend the beat, Noah, two seats in the 911, no limit on the Black Card
Told y'all I was gonna go H·A·M 'til ocean was my backyard
No lies in my verses, please pardon all the curses
shite gotta come some way, f**k, when you're growing up worthless
Middle finger to my old life, special shoutout to my old head
If it wasn’t for your advice, a ni**a would have been so dead
I'm living life til these ni**as kill me, turn this up if these ni**as feel me
I’m riding dirty, tryna get filthy, Pablo Picasso, Rothkos, Rilkes
Graduated to the MoMA, and I did all of this without a diploma
Graduated from the corner, y'all can play me for a muthafu**in fool if you wanna
Street-smart and I’m book smart coulda been a chemist cause I cook smart
Only thing that can stop me is me and I’mma stop when the hook start, hold up

Nas-The World Is Yours
quote:

I sip the Dom P, watchin Gandhi til I'm charged
Then writin in my book of rhymes, all the words pass the margin
To hold the mic I'm throbbin, mechanical movement
Understandable smooth shite that murderers move wit
The thief's theme, play me at night, they won't act right
The fiend of hip-hop has got me stuck like a crack pipe
The mind activation, react like I'm facin time like
'Pappy' Mason with pens I'm embracin
Wipe the sweat off my dome, spit the phlegm on the streets
Suede Timb's on my feets, makes my cypher, complete
Whether crusin in a six-cab, or Montero Jeep
I can't call it, the beats make me fallin asleep
I keep fallin, but never fallin six feet deep
I'm out for presidents to represent me (Say what?)
I'm out for presidents to represent me (Say what?)
I'm out for dead presidents to represent me

From the album Blacroc, rapped by Mos Def

quote:

Highlights, clear view on the vista -
Stars so close you can reach out and kiss one
Bright waves roll easy and still
Sparklin and deep
Rude and sweet
Dream what you like, but you dare not sleep
