You guys are over thinking this by a mile.

Oasis popularity and support is (primarily) driven by women. Their music hits hard with females.

And when females really want something.....we buy the tickets, flights and hotel rooms.

My observation would be that the dates so far are probably like 70-30 men and half that female population are women being dragged along by their husbands/boyfriends.

I think the woman perception comes more stateside because the most popular songs (Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back in Anger and Champagne Supernova) are some of the softer tracks.

Two working class dudes from Manchester signing Rock N Roll Star and Cigarettes and Alcohol didn’t gain popularity due to female audiences.

I don’t think a post could’ve missed the mark more. It was probably 75% dudes at the heaton park shows. If you look at the history of their shows they’ve always been lumped in with “lad culture” in the UK. Rock n Roll, drinking, soccer fandom, chasing women, assorted other dude behavior.

Hell much of the coverage has called it things like the “anti eras tour” or the “eras tour for dads.” There are definitely plenty of piss pints still being tossed over there at the shows.

yeah, not questioning they were bigger in the UK... Even this tour, they did 5 nights in their hometown of Manchester and 5 in Wembley.. they probably could have doubled those dates given the ticket demand..

They probably could have tripled the London and Manchester dates. When the shows were announced, there were 14 million people worldwide that were vying for 1.4 million tickets total. Most people were online for 10 or more hours and still didn't get tickets. Pretty insane for a band that hasn't been around for 16 years.

I also think there is just an appeal to see a hugely popular rock act in that type of setting - and there just aren't any anymore. I don't see any on the horizon, either. Who is doing it now, in something akin to their prime, in anything resembling rock? Coldplay?

MCR is on a sold out stadium tour right now after reuniting in 2020. They're playing Wembley soon, they had a huge show in the Giants/Jets stadium a few weeks back, and I'm seeing them at Raymond James in Tampa next month.

They have a lot of rumors circulating about 4-5 days of knebworth next year.

I don’t think they’re going anywhere.

We were at the Soldier Field show. Greatest show I've ever been to. An incredible mix of male and female, young and old. The sound was crystal clear and loud. The crowd singing overtook the PA at times.

It always was and always will be about the great songs and how they make you feel.

And the brothers being back together.

Unforgettable night!!!!

Was at Soldier Field as well. Easily the best stadium show I've been to. Everyone seemed to have a blast, including the band--Liam especially was in prime form.

They are really popular with folks who refuse to waste money on braces, dentistry and toothpaste. I freaking hate them. Modern Beatles my a$$.

Sources say that the band is planning a massive gig at Knebworth next year. The group is also rumored to be touring Europe, the UK, and North America again in 2026. Learn

Did you go Sunday or Monday? My little dude and I were there in the rain on Sunday

Didn’t realize during the show that Liam was calling it legoland due to the bleachers being so temporary

Was at the Monday no rain night. The merch lines were ridiculous. Got the blue Adidas long sleeve somehow.
