Kacey Musgraves seems to have given up the cowgirl boots.

For 10 years I've been trying to get you to admit, you don't like Document because that's when they started becoming more mainstream with MTV play and uncool. Admit it!!! It has nothing to do with the sound of the band. Fables to Life's Rich to Document all were recorded within 3 years. They didn't change that much.

You just don't like Document because of... "That's great it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes and aeroplanes, Lenny Bruce is not afraid."

C'mon you know it's true, admit it!!!

It
is
not
true.

I did not give up on auto buy at that point. That came later after one of their even worse albums.

That might be my favorite moment

If I were making a best of, that song is the only one that would sniff the compilation. I would choose songs from their later terrible albums first.

How did all those people back then not understand what pre and post mean?

From South Central Rain to What’s the Frequency Kenneth is quite the journey.

You know, I really don't think that is a great example. There's much larger journeys in that catalogue. That's one of the few songs I actually like after LRP.

Chicago, if you're looking at popular bands. What they did was damn near criminal.

Journey and REO Speedwagon aren't too far behind. Listen to their early recordings then listen to their later stuff. Styx is up there, too.

INXS is another for me. My line is between The Swing and Listen Like Thieves. To me, the sound goes from college/alt./indie to pure radio pop.

Ulver comes to mind for me. Started out as black metal and now they are experimental electronica.

You are absolutely spot on with this. Chicago was a bad arse jam band. After their first two albums, they went straight to hell.

Doobie Brothers - pre Micheal McDonald and after he joins. Bluesy Rock to Top 40. Love ore McDonald Doobies

The Police - early albums are way more euro punk with a slice of Caribbean. Still a fan of all their albums though.

No Code starts a little slow, but I feel like songs like Red Mosquito, In My Tree, Hail Hail, Off He Goes, and Lukin are some of their best songs. But it seems like every PJ fan hates this album.

Not I, said the duck.

For people who really know their music - meaning those who actually have done more than casually listen to their stuff past Vitalogy, you will definitely find folks who will tell you that No Code & Yield are probably their finest albums.
