Actually jamming out to Rush on Palladia. Always loved them growing up, but is Geddy Lee considered on the bass? Dude seems to jam. I know Neil kicks arse on the drums and Lifeson is pretty good.... Anywho, drinking a beer watching Rush on tv, not that bad of a night.

When a bass player chooses to also sing, it strips him of all bass player accolades.

Lets see, he plays bass, keyboards/synthesizers/pedals and sings at the same time.

My older brother turned me on to some RUSH. They are real good. Lee does a shitload of stuff as a musician? pretty talented overall imo.

The fact that they are a 3 man band and sound like any 4-5 man band should tell you about all their skill levels.

Well he's no TheDoc when it comes to the bass, but many think highly of his skills.

This.

But strictly as far as bass playing, he's one of the absolute best to ever play in a rock 'n roll band.

As far as technical playing goes Rush is easily one of the best. Peart is obviously the most lauded but Geddy Lee is no slouch. That rhythm section is pretty insane.

Was an incredible bass player in his prime, and is still very solid.
