Derek needs to do some all-instrumental side projects. 95% of people go to Tedeschi-Trucks to see him shred, not listen to Susan sing pop songs.

Also I think this all but confirms an Allman Brothers Band appearence at Jazz Fest

Agreed, would be a fitting stop on their last leg.

Just saw that. Damn glad that I'll be at the Fox in Atlanta on Friday to see them together for one of the last times. Should be a show to remember.

Dave Malone and Camille Baudoin could energize this thing. I hope the bros would consider a jam or two with these guys just to see if there's fire left in the collective bellies.

Well, I guess that just pushed me over the fence if I was gonna nut up and make one of the shows at the Beacon in March. They will be there for a few weeks, but I'm looking at the last show on 3/22. Perhaps the last ABB Beacon show ever!

I only go to NY for great shows. Trash and turds otherwise.

The Allman Brothers Band and Buddy Guy are my last two "bucket list" bands to see. I sure hope they play Jazzfest. Still can't believe I missed the WSP/ABB tour in fall 09.
