Frick them for charging $100 a ticket for the upper deck of a stadium.

When Tix went on sale the upper deck was going for $35.

$35 for the top half of the upper deck, the first 10-15 rows were a $100.

I thought they were $75 but I could be wrong. But I am with those that think this is more of a Nola issue than a U2 issue. I bought secondary Radiohead tickets for $7 a piece and heard the same thing happened when The Cure was here in 2016.

They've sold out most of the dome. Other than the resale tickets there isn't much left on the map of available seats on TM.
Everything in the upper terrace has been covered. About Rows 20 and above. At this point they're just trying to flood the market with comps to make it look good. Probably going to be 36 to 38k there

Taylor Swift did on her last tour. She will probably tour stadiums again next year too.
Yep another big stadium show coming to the Big Easy in the fall.

The Cure did two shows at Lakefront. Once the second show was announced, prices cratered.

U2 probably would have done better in NOLA with the drive-in as well as local market if it was one of the originally announced dates. The NOLA date was a late add, and I have friends who went to see them in Houston, Dallas and even Chicago who won't be seeing them again in NOLA (though I would for the prices on the secondary market). I'll be in Sec. 101 ($70 face), with my 87 Joshua Tree tour t-shirt.

I can't discuss exact numbers but I can say this: lolU2.

This has everything to do with New Orleans and nothing to do with U2. I went to their concert in Houston and the place was jam packed. They've had huge turnouts all across the country, and then out the blue they shockingly add New Orleans to the list.

Myself and a group of friends will be going tonight, and I can't wait to see them again.

U2--they are still the biggest band in the world.

Pop is the best album they've released since Achtung Baby. Amazing, underrated album.

The issue with The Cure was that they hastily added a second show after tickets went on sale for the first. The originally scheduled show which ended up being the second night was filled.

I think the lack of ticket sales has something to do with them being 30 years past their prime???
