I’ll add someone who hasn’t been mentioned in the underrated category… Ronnie Van Zant. He didn’t move around much on stage, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t have stage presence. The man stood on the stage and sang his songs from the heart, the ultimate storyteller.

Natalie Merchant...nobody stage-danced like Natalie in her
younger days.
Allison Krausse... what else can you say about this woman?

I saw them 3 times and Velvet Revolver twice. Anytime I'm talking about this with friends I mention that when I think of a true rock frontman, it's Weiland.

Kevin is good but nowhere near the best ever. He is however the best frontman with a gay communist vegetarian brother.
