I have really started to get into them. I love the fantasy-esque lyrics.
Back when I first heard of them. I thought they were just speed guitar, but they have some great music.
Would love to see them live.
Anyone know of any similar bands?

Unbelievable studio band, not good live according to my friends who saw them in concert.

I saw them live in 2007 and one of their guitarist got so fricked up they had to literally drag him off the stage. Luckily their other guitarist, a Japanese man named Herman Li, was more than able to pick up the slack. Between the Buried and Me completely overshadowed them that night however.

Their original singer is with Skid Row now. Saw him with them a couple times recently and he handles that gig well. Never seen Dragonforce but loved their big hit on Guitar Hero.

I used to love Dragonforce but then realized nearly all of their songs are the same - they get repetitive really quickly. Hammerfall is similar.
I loved their old vocalist ZP and haven't really listened to anything with the new singer. I'll listen to them occasionally for fun but they're a one trick pony.
I remember the live show in 2006/2007ish with Between the Buried and Me and they were so drunk by the end they had to restart their encore song about 3 times because they kept messing up.
