I dunno, fun. has had their rock hit, poppy we are young hit, and their slow hit. I wouldn't be surprised if they're on their way out after the next album. The format was better than them anyway, just didn't get the big break.

I'm not disagreeing.

I really like all 4 of these bands you listed though.

Was reading this thread and decided to put some Third Eye Blind on my headphones at work. Now I'm starting to feel feelings again, stupid nineties rock!! Ain't nobody got time for that!

Very cool.. I love throwing on some TEB every now and then when I'm in the mood for some 90s tunes.

They played the final outdoor concert at the Stone Pony last year. My house is two blocks away and we sat on the porch and listened to the show. I've never been a real fan but I didn't go inside as it wasn't bad

Extremely catchy tunes but are still way overplayed.

Third eye blind as you can tell by my avatar is one of my absolute favorite bands. Eighteen, I can tell you know what's up because you listed some lesser knowns.

If y'all really want a great, do yourselves a favor and YouTube the following unreleased tracks: gorgeous, scattered and alright Caroline.

I actually tend to prefer the less mainstream 3eb songs. I Want You, Narcolepsy, Can't Get Away, Forget Myself, Good Man, Darwin, and the list goes on.

Saw them when they came to Tulane a few years ago and then House of Blues again.

You can't be mid 30's and not like third eye blind. my first trip to baton rouge was right after blue came out. still remember driving the basin bridge and jamming that album

Saw them at that part of Starkville called The Cotton District back in 2009 (I think). It was the year that we had that goal line stance against MSU.

Anyway, there was one stage in an L-shaped bend in the road. There were about 3 or 4 warm-up bands and me and a few guys were down in of the front the stage for about an hour before TeB came on. As soon as TeB hit the stage there was a manic rush from both ends of the road and all the people were being funneled towards the bend in the road from both directions.

I swear to God that was the closest that I have ever come to being killed. I couldn't move my body. It was like I was a leaf in a sea of people and I just went where the sea of people flowed. I started to panic for the first time in my life. Fortunately I was able to get out of the crush of people after about 20 minutes of serious effort.

I've been on Bourbon during Mardi Gras many, many times. Been to a bunch of concerts. I would have been embarrassed if my obituary said "he died doing what he loved: Watching Third Eye Blind perform."

Don't get me wrong. I loved their first album, but to get crushed in a sea of Moo-State fans rushing the stage to see a band that had their last top 40 hit a decade and a half ago would have just been the most tragic way to die.

TL;DR: Moo-State fans are so starved for entertainment that they nearly killed me over a band that hadn't had a hit in over 15 years.

He's one of the most insecure people you'll ever meet. But yes a beast of a writer. And to trust Eric Valentine with that first record. Who knew? Stevie J did.

Good band with good songs and one of the most tone deaf lead singers in the history of music. He's absolutely terrible.
