These two kids are 19 and 17. There may be some hope for the future of music.

Ahhh, young padawan. You have much to learn. Here is your entry to the world of young talent you may find. "What You Want" Evanescence cover by the same Moriah and the Queen Bee, Sina.
What You Want

And Sina with Victoria K and Andrei Cerbu doing "Black Velvet (Alannah Myles cover):
Black Velvet

And Sina's cover of "In-a-Gadda-da-Vida":
In-a-Gadda-da-Vida
Just awesome at the 13 minute mark.

Stevie Ray Vaughn fans? Check out Andrei doing "Scuttle Buttin'" with the guitar behind the back and behind the head:

Taj Farrant -... (playing with some other guy) ... sorta like an old video of a young Derek Truck's getting to jam w/the Allman Brothers.

and something slower with some feels

Well then. Let's go really young and talented.

Yoyoka - Rage Against The Machine - Bulls on Parade

Here she is at 8.

Yoyoka - Good Times Bad Times

She's never had a lesson and she doesn't read music. She does come from a musical family.

I'm always leery of youtube vids although her voice is great and playing appears legit. Around the 1:15 mark when she does the harmonics there's a guitar track playing in the background. Hard to tell how much of this vid is legit live playing.

I will see your young and talented and raise you one. Haydn Piano Concerto in D Major. If you want to be stunned, skip the introduction to the :30 second mark and close your eyes and listen and then look at who is playing:

Haydn Piano #11

Or watch this young pianist compose a complete sonata from four random notes pulled out of a hat, in less than a minute:

60 Second Sonata

Often they will add harmonizing vocals or other instrument tracks. Sina and her collaborators will produce music in which they have played percussion, lead and rhythm guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals. There are vids of that young lady playing and singing live on stage with a band, though it appears that the audio for those performances is not good.

She does. The guitar in this song is not difficult to play, so that part is not impressive (she does play it well, but show me something more complex for me to say "hey she's got special talent!"). However, her singing is spot on and perfect for rock. Combine that with her guitar work and yes she is good.

With that said, there are many good players out there. Youtube is filled with people recording themselves playing cover songs. Meh..

Moriah Covers Skid Row

there's also a video of her doing the national anthem at Fenway.

yeah, her singing "Alone" was pretty good but the sound quality was not.

just saw this... ugh!

Most recently on season 13 of NBC’s The Voice. She was one of four 4 chair turns and chose Team Miley Cyrus.

Original little jam by Sina and Andrei, sounds like Santana:
Latin Jam

Many of her collaborators also have original songs of their own:

Mia Morris, sounds here like Avril Lavigne:
Watching You

Care for some funk? Juna Serita (Japanese):
Princess of Funk

or

Alissia Benvenista:
Holdin' On

And I have to mention this one, whose name literally translates to "Little Angel, a Star" - Angelina Jordan Astar
Feelin' Good

I Put a Spell on You

She has hundreds of millions of views on youtube. This is just a taste, I have more than 30 quality recorded performances.

Two girls performing a random Heart cover on YouTube gives you hope for the future of music - but not the myriad of currently great bands performing.
