Can someone give me an idea what this is? I have been to HOB once or twice and I am trying to figure out if I was at the main stage or The Parish room. From the reviews I am reading, it looks like a smaller room, but I dont know if it's the stage I was at. Thanks.

It's a long skinnyish room with the bar at one end and the stage at the other. I saw Sunny Day Real Estate there but that was a long time ago.

In the above photo the photographer would be standing about where the stage is.

Ok, so that's definitely not where I have been before. How many people do they sell tickets to?

Saw Omar Rodriguez Lopez there last year, Cedric Bixlar came out and sang the entire set, and I'm pretty sure they did a lot of new Mars Volta Material.........Only about 75 people in there, one of the best shows i've been to

Gotcha, well I bought Reckless Kelly tickets for Feb 9th and I was expecting to be on the main stage. Then I notice it is in The Parish and I didnt know what that was. Sounds like it will be a different kind of show. RK would be something I wouldnt expect in that kind of venue.

250 people in the parish room looks a lot better than 250 people in the HOB

No argument here. Only thing is, RK has put a large crowd in the main stage before. Just wondering why the small venue.

Saw Ryan Bingham play there back in 2010. I really liked the venue.

Saw a sit-down show here with Jose Gonzales around 2007. It's a nice quaint venue.

and I never know where to position myself in the big HOB.

Thinking about buying tickets to this but I'm worried about how much of a clusterfrick it'll be to get downtown the night of Endymion.

I saw Derek Trucks during Mardi Gras weekend in 2008. I was staying downtown so I didn't have to find parking but I can bet on it being ridiculous.

I actually think that's a great venue for RK. Should be an awesome show.

Well I bought tickets already and didnt realize what weekend it was. At this point, I guess I am pot committed. Though to be honest, if I thought I could sell my tickets I probably would.
