This is considered by many as the Stones best album, and even one of the best all time. I really dig this record and jam it quite often, but if I had to rank their remarkable 4 album run, I'd go
Beggars Banquet
Sticky Fingers
Exile
Let It Bleed

I must say though that these are VERY close in my book and the order is subject to change occasionally...

Yeah, great album, but I've never understood all the hype it gets.

Great opener, but so is Sympathy For the Devil with its awesome imagery and lyrics

Beast of Burden is one of those songs that I've heard so many times that I absolutely hate it now.

All 4 kill it. Don't see a need to rank them to be honest.

Agree.

Of their infamous five-album run (Beggar's Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Exile on Main Street, and Goats Head Soup) it is at best ranked fourth among that group and in my opinion is probably behind Goats Head Soup.

The album just has a lot of filler compared to the preceding records.

The Stones have a lot of great records, no doubt, but Exile is absolutely a desert island record for me. It's perfection from beginning to end.

Exile is one of my favorite all time. But of the others, I'd have to rank Sticky as my best

What do you mean filler? There aint a bad song on the album...

Exile is one of my deserted island albums.

´tis a very maleable concept.

I think a poster fopped Goat´s Head Soup in there as part of the magical run (does not belong, IMO)...

All of them are in the Stones' hottest, most creative era. The albums are all great. I think Exile has fantastic breadth, so I don't have a problem with it being ranked no. 1. But I love the others, too.
