Some core memories have been unlocked the more I examine that list.

Seeing MC900 FT Jesus on the list reminded me how much I liked and listened to this one back in the day.

August 1995. Actually like nearly half of these songs. 90’s was a pretty great decade, IMO

'93-96, the mid 90's were an incredible time in music. I mean, shite, the 90's were overall. But I think my favorites come from the mid 90s. Grunge is really killing it, and lots of new and interesting bands are really popping off.

I had the Woodstock '94 soundtrack on tape.

And I bought my first two CDs - Better Than Ezra - Deluxe, and Live - Throwing Copper.

94 solely due to timing. 1993 was my freshman year of HS. 1994 I started driving and listening to more music at that time.

We didn't have any pandora/apple or online music, it was all radio or word of mouth and passing tapes/CD's around amongst friends. Good times.

I was in HS in 1993 and I do not remember Tears For Fears being a chart topper. Wild.

But out of those two years, I much prefer 1994. I mean the album lineup was fricking insane:

Weezer- Blue Album
Bush - Sixteen Stone
Oasis - Definitely Maybe
Soundgarden - Superunknown
Cranberries - No Need to Argue
AIC - Jar of Flies
STP - Purple
Greenday- Dookie
Offspring - Smash
NIN- Downward Spiral
Beastie Boys - Ill Communication (Sabotage was a single on it)

Other happenings I remember:

Cobain died
Woodstock '94
Pink Floyd on their last tour before breakup
Eagles launch "Hell Freezes Over" tour
