Yea I don't know why. It's an irrational hatred.
I just really don't like that song.
No, I understand. A lot of music produces irrational hatred for many a person.
No big deal.

Dear Prudence or So Tired(not sure if either are considered "underrated/overlooked/unrecognized". But, that's my picks.

Dear Prudence

I know a lot of people hate it...but I absolutely love "Octopus Garden." The solo and final chorus are perfect. George & Ringo
I used to not really like this song too much. But a while back I saw an interview with Ringo where he talked about when and where he wrote it and ever since then I've heard it in a different way. I really dig it now.
Others have already mentioned Dear Prudence, Kansas City, Green Onion, and a bunch more. Basically, just about every Beatles song that wasn't a massive hit is in the running. They're all pretty much that good.

I'm Down
Paperback Writer (100% agree of the "punk" assessment from above. Thought that the first time I heard the song)
Run For Your Life
She Said She Said
Lovely Rita
Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey
Abbey Road Medley

Slow Down
Very popular song, especially with the "drug" crowd
How are people saying this is underrated? It is easily one of their best received and revered works, which is appropriate. One of recorded music's greatest achievements.

I don't think you can really call anything the Beatles did "underrated", as it was all highly acclaimed and popular.
I think the thread largely consists of the overlooked album cuts with which casual fans may not be familiar.

I took this thread as, essentially, shite by The Beatles that isn't horribly over-played or on a greatest hits thing.
