There's a 0.0023% chance you've listened to more new music than me over the last five years.

It's really 0.0024%. Rounding error.

Yes, of course. My mistake.

Anyway, I'm not trying to start a dick-swinging contest, but my love for PP has nothing to do with lack of other options. Passion Pit is not merely the hottest chick in the bar who will let me have sex with her. Passion Pit is the hottest chick in the bar.*

*To me. Music is much much much more subjective than female attractiveness, which is really only subjective if you believe rationalizations from dudes who can't land a hotter piece.

Which music is the best when you are fricking someone's mom, or making our GF's moan?

Kings of Leon?

Passion Pit is one of the few shows I've ever walked out of (I was really there to see the opening act, but wow... not even drinking could I take two hours of Passion Pit)

Best in the past five years?

Titus Andronicus and the Cloud Nothings.

Titus Andronicus - No Future Part Three

Cloud Nothings - Wasted Days (Live)

BTW. None of my favorite singers can sing.

Passion Pit sound like bad pop music sung by little kids to me, but to each their own. My favorite band in the past 5 years would be The Disco Biscuits.

DeonG- You should start a new upcoming albums thread. November is a solid month for album releases:

November 5
Jimi Hendrix Experience – Miami Pop Festival
White Fence – Live in San Francisco
Kurt Vile & Sore Eros – Jamaica Plain
November 12
The Growlers – Gilded Pleasures
Keller Williams – FUNK
Wooden Shjips – Back to Land
November 18
Kurt Vile – It’s a Big Wold Out There (and I’m scared)
November 25
Eric Clapton – Give Me Stength: The ‘74/’75 Recordings
Neil Young – Live at the Cellar Door

What is up with two Kurt Vile albums two weeks apart? I was supposed to go see him live the other night but opted for the Pelicans game instead.
