The BEST decade of Rock & Roll.........

I say the 70's, BUT I would have to go with what the late 60"s [ 68-69] That set the 70's up for sucess. When the Doors and Clapton and Hendrix and the Stones and CSNY were stting the stage for what was to come.

Like movies, I think the 70's and 90's are the best, but I'd always take now, because we get all the old stuff plus whatever new stuff is out.

I think I have an album from every one except Bad company who I can't stand 
ETA: looking at it again, I don't have a full album by Heart, Frampton, BTO or Bob Seger, but do have at least a song from each on my iPod.
I count Steely Dan and Pink Floyd as 2 or my top 4 or 5 favorite bands off all time.
You could Wings to that list, plus the Stones and The Who had great stuff come out in the 70's.
Someone mentioned Springsteen, plus we need to add Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty and the Clash.
