Their CDs have the best audio engineering I have ever heard. Chicago's original albums were taped rather than digital, so even remastered are not as clean. Each time I listen I hear piano or bass lines clearly that I didn't notice previously. Leonid is a master. Brought in real string section, french horns and harp even. Well worth the price.

Their live performances are wonderful. Every single one of them is a fantastic musician. As a Chicago fan and trumpet player I hate to say it, but Andre Zyl is better than Lee Loughnane, and the sax and trombone are insanely good. Give a listen to "Life Saver" and "Street Player" as well as the top hits.

They are quite affable and interesting people, and their joy of performing is quite contagious. Touring in the USA right now and again in Nov/Dec. Got my seats on the front row.

By the way, their US agent told me they will schedule Atlanta in their 2020 tour. I have extra tickets for Jacksonville Dec. 6 if you want them.

I appreciate the offer but knowing that they are targeting Atlanta, I'll wait it out. This has me pumped.

What kind of venues are they booking?

Relatively intimate but established music venues or theaters in the 1,000 to 1,500 seat range, and a few music festivals. Check the website frequently and get the best seats you can when they go on sale.

Those of you who are Chicago and Kath fans should make it to a performance by Leonid & Friends, now on tour in the USA.

Chi-Town Transit Authority is based out of Atlanta and is really good.Ive seen em a couple of times at the Vista Room in North Decatur.Eric Gant {base player) is a great vocalist.

I think they're touring around the Southeast this Summer.

I've been a fan of him forever, and am still feeling a huge musical loss to this day.

Thanks OP!

You nailed it, PhantomMenace.

Just saw that they are performing at Center Stage in Atlanta this June. Can't wait.

There's a documentary on Chicago either on Netflix or Showtime, I can't remember. Very entertaining.

I believe it is or was on Netflix. It's a really good documentary on the band and Terry. Not only was he a great guitarist he had a real soulful voice. So sad.
