I recently read that this album is getting a vinyl reissue. This was SPIN magazine's (when it was relevant) #1 album of the year in 1991, a year that had several classics released, including Nevermind. I know that we have some younger posters here, and some others who may not be familiar with this album. If you aren't, do yourself a favor and give it a listen. I'm going to post the lead track, but this is a great album start to finish. This band also released several albums after this that are very good.

I honestly had never heard of the band until Ben Gibbard did a cover of that whole album. The original and his cover are both awesome. I don't know how I've gone this long without ever hearing a single song from the album.

hadn't thought about that record in forever. i remember liking it, wanting to like it more, but never completely clicking. will give it another spin, thank for the reminder

Picked this up in a record store while on a trip somewhere (don't recall where though). It was on the listening station, I gave it a chance and I walked out a happy kid. What an incredible record.

I like to listen to albums when I run, rather than random songs and I cued up this one earlier this week for a listen, what a great record..the college radio station used to play the hell out of “What You Do to Me” back when it was released I and I bought the CD...still have it.
