Maybe not but at least talking out of his arse. I could see him doing a long break or a side band project with guys he loves.

I don’t think you can shut off songwriting. The songs he writes may begin to suck, but you have no control over that either. When it’s gone it’s gone. And he’s a late bloomer. Only he knows how many songs or pieces of songs or guitar parts are in his head.

Finally got around to really giving this a listen, Juanita, Played out, and Shamrock all stand out. Juanita is a classic, great tune.
