That show must be so underground and awesome. The only name on there I've ever heard of is Gojira.

Its at the Hard Rock Hotel pool in Vegas. Not exactly the type of place that would have a bunch of metal bands no one has heard of. Don't act like you've never heard of Mastodon either.

I somehow completely missed them being a headliner in bold red letters

Ace Frehley is the original guitarist of Kiss. He's put out some solo records as well. Melvins have been around since the early 80s and are a major influence on the Seattle grunge scene. Anyone who listens to rock should be familiar with both of those names.

Ok, I just realized I missed a lot of the artists that are on that lineup. How did I miss Sleep? I think I'm just going blind. I need to just give up on posting for a while

Never been a fan of Kiss either. Just saying Ace Frehley is not some obscure name. I like how this festival mixes in some older acts with current bands though. Here's last year's lineup

Have this on my calendar as a possible. Been looking at it since the lineup came out months ago. Tickets aren't cheap and all gonna depend on my work schedule. That lineup is insane.

Edit: quick glance looks like they are starting to sell out also.

Mastodon was just added today. If this wasn't gonna sell out before, it will now.
