far surpassed my expectations in every aspect. drumming, saxophone play, pianists, and guitarists were just all stellar. They ended fittingly with Reelin' in the Years

Saw them a couple of years ago. Tightest, funkiest shite I've ever heard live.

Someone should really create a music board on TD.

Great show but left a little empty - they didn't play FM, Deacon Blues, Do It Again, or Dirty Work. Wtf!! I know they can't play everything but dang.

Very disappointed. A great band, great musicians, but they played a lot of stuff I hadn't heard and didn't play a lot of the classics - Do It Again, FM, Deacon Blue, Pretzel Logic, Rikki Don't Lose That Number, Only A Fool Would Say That.

Saw them at the Beacon two or three years ago. Free ticket from a friend. No way I would have thought to see them otherwise. One of the best shows I've ever seen, and by far the weirdest crowd in which I've ever been. There's 58-year-old New York Jews, and then there's 58-year-old Jews who listen to nothing but Steely Dan. Both are great, but the latter are from another planet. Hard to explain any further.

I was there and thought it was awesome. While you are correct, they didn't play those songs, a band with that many hits isn't going to play everything you want. I mean they played Old School, Kid Charlemagne, Reelin in the Years, Black Friday, Peg, Hey Nineteen, Bodhisattva, Babylon Sisters.

Whether you liked their set list or not, you have to agree they were top notch. Sounded great.
