I just wrote this one, kind of in that same vein.
Charlie
Well Charlie’s in the paddies,
And Charlie’s in the trees,
There’s a landmine in the road,
The Bushes speak Vietnamese,
Well Charlie’s in the tunnels,
And Charlie’s in the grass,
And if you try to sleep,
Then Charlie’s gonna get your arse,

I can smell the Agent Orange in the air,
Oh Charlie, can you taste the Napalm,
When I close my eyes it’s Charlie waiting there,
We can make it to the barracks,
If we make it through the night,
And we make it to the chopper,

There’ll be no ticker tape parade,
Cause all that you can trust in,
Is your gun and your grenade,

I can smell the Agent Orange in the air,
