Southwestern/Desert Guitar Music

Anyone know any good desert/south-western guitar music out there? I'm not looking for Ennio Morricone or Mexican salsa type stuff; I'm looking for minor chord, Spanish-inspired southwestern guitar licks. Basically, I want the desert version of sad bluegrass music.
TIA.

Bob Weir—Blue Mountain...it is mostly acoustic guitar...plays early 1900 cowboy diddys. He put it out less than 2 years ago—it is actually pretty good.
It was inspired by his spending a good bit of his younger years on a ranch in Wyoming. Also, his chief songwriter for 30 years,, Robert Barlow, also had a big ranch and lived in Wyoming.

Paco de Lucia - "Tico Tico"
Not what you asked for, but a classic clip of a brilliant Flamenco player. Pretend it comes from the deserts of Spain.

Damien Jurado’s early stuff and his newest album is this to a T. V depressing, good road trip in the desert jams. He had a Marapoca run in there that got a little big band / out there.

The soundtrack to the video game Red Dead Redemption is pretty damn good. Game came out 8 years ago. I still listen to the soundtrack.
