When Murry Wilson was fired by his son Brian as manager of The Beach Boys, he got pissed and rounded up some local kids to show anybody could start a band:
Murry even stole his sons' shirts

This Brooks & Dunn song threw me for a loop - sounds more like Neal McCoy or Collin Raye.
Mainly because it's Brooks, instead of the usual Dunn, singing lead. but I also don't think it fits their normal style

I thought Right Here, Right Now was U2 until recently. Jesus Jones, go figure.

When I was a teen in the 80s I would hear most all Badfinger songs on the radio and would think they were the Beatles. I’m an idiot.

“Lonely is the Night” by Billy Squire, “Tell Me What You Want” by Zebra, and “Working Man” by Rush sound like Led Zeppelin.

The first time I heard Highway Tune by Greta Van Fleet, I looked at my buddy and asked what was this Zeppelin I had never heard before.

Play "Lonely is the Night" by Squire and then play "Nobody's Fault but Mine" and "Good Times, Bad Times" by Zeppelin.

exact same for me, although that's not a popular sentiment on the internet. They literally sound like voice/guitar doppelgangers but apparently it's not cool to mention it.
