I know this is a long shot and partly because I don’t have a lot of details but can anyone help ID a song/artist based on this
Country song or seemed as such
Male singer
Theme of song is the stresses of the world and events seen on news
Has lyrics that asks world for just a minute collect himself
Obviously I don’t have those lyrics exact because I have search for two days now and come up empty. Heard the song on rental car shuttle bus yesterday.
Anyway maybe someone can identify, thanks for any help.

What decade is it probably from if you had to just take a wild guess?

Felt like in the last decade and going off the words about the state of the world I wouldn’t be surprised if within the past decade.

It’s not but had the same “feel” to it. I do appreciate that song too so not a total loss. I should have gotten a verse better when I heard it.

It might be in like 3 years or so.. but you'll eventually hear it again or it'll come to you better.

First thing that came to mind was

Sounds an awful lot like Kenny Rogers' "The Gambler."

for future reference, download the Shazam app.
it is a song/music/artist recognition app that will tell you everything you need including downloading the song in question

Don’t need it. “Hey Siri, what song is this?”
