Don't understand this at all. Jay had more passion for the band than any of the original members.

Hopefully it's not Corey and Clown money grabbing by paying session musicians less than permanent members, but with Craig and Fehn leaving and now Jay it seems possible.

I'm sure it's a money issue. Corey always seemed like a little bitch. Will be interesting to see who they get to replace him.

They are definitely making some weird decisions , getting rid of Craig the day after a show and announcing it right before they go on stage and now with Jay . They just finished their touring cycle so if I had to guess it was a money issue between Corey / Clown and not paying Jay what he either deserved and or wanted …..
It was also stated Jay pretty much saved the band when he joined , so I’m not what they will do besides release unreleased tracks or do some dumb “clown” experimental stuff

When I lived in Phoenix Slipknot stayed at the hotel I worked at twice. Dudes are complete opposite what you see on stage. They could be church dudes they're so nice.

Maybe he was under a contract and it ended after this tour and they decided not to renew it. They also just put out their last record for Roadrunner so they currently don't have a record deal either. I'm thinking they will start their own label and self release everything like Metallica does now.
Also it looks like they just removed the post from all their social media so who knows what's going on.

Haven’t they been saying for years that their touring days are numbered and they’re getting too old to continue Slipknot? Could be a deal where they transition to just playing select festivals plus Knotfest and they figure they could get a cheaper drummer.

Jay got kicked out of Against Me! before joining Slipknot - he's an awesome drummer, but my guess is he either pissed off the wrong person on the wrong day or it was something to do with his contract - he'll find another gig though

Jay left Against Me, at least that's what the statement was if I remember correctly. He wasn't kicked out.

Sorry, it was Madball that kicked him out. Laura Jane did call Jay a shitbag and entitled when he joined Slipknot, but claimed she was joking.
